Hi! My name is Chinouk De Decker. I’m a 21-year-old communication student from Belgium with a background in Audiovisual Arts from RITCS. After completing that degree, I decided to deepen my passion for media by pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in International Communication at Thomas More.
I’ve always been passionate about film, media, and storytelling. My main interests lie in audio, camera work, and video editing. I’m also stronly interested in content creation and social media strategy.
In 2023, I completed an internship at VRT, where I contributed as an editor to various national news programs such as Het Journaal, Karrewiet, and Terzake. That experience gave me a strong foundation in media production, and I’m now eager to broaden my skillset in a more creative or international setting.
I speak fluent English and enjoy working in multilingual and collaborative environments. I’ve been part of sports teams like basketball and have several years of experience in the hospitality industry, which taught me how to stay calm under pressure and work well in a team.
Over the past year, I’ve been expanding my expertise by working as a social media manager for various channels, including BW Motors, CFMOTO Benelux, and Thomas More’s official TikTok while working as a student for the national news program.
